Rural Poverty is an important issue for Alun Davies. As chair of the Rural Affairs Sub-Committee and in dealing with cases as a regional AM, Alun understands that rural poverty can be hidden and often difficult to tackle and can lead to child poverty and other issues. Alun is sure that through raising awareness of the issue and focussing the work of the sub-committee on investigating and understanding the causes of rural deprivation, only then can a solution be found to bringing rural poverty and its effects on families and communities to an end.
